Bespoke subscription not upto the mark

Signed up for bespoke subscription for my son and provided details including author and types of books my son likes. However, the books delivered so far were not at all aligned to his interests e.g. one of the books delivered was for teenage girls and their school/ college life and wasn't suited for a boy interested in science fiction etc. Also, the price of individual books delivered was much lower than the subscription cost. Hope they deliver better books in the remaining subscription.

Excellent gift idea for a book lover.

I recieved a 3 month book subscription for my 40th birthday from my work mates. i have been so happy with the books that have been sent and get excited each month to see what arrives. It is one of the best gifts i ever recieved and so thoughtful.

The last reunion

I have had two books so far. The first was The Last Reunion by Katye Nunn.
It was a very good read different from my usual read.
About a young woman and an older woman's growing relationship over a shared interest.
Both were able to relate to each other even though from diverse backgrounds age and life experiences.
The next book is The Disappearance of Astrid Bricard by Natasha Lester
I am only quarter way through so have no comments except to say I am finding it difficult to get into.

Interesting and Different Book

My daughter bought me a 3-month book club subscription for Christmas. My first book arrived in a timely manner once I had completed my profile information. It was probably a book I wouldn't have necessarily chosen myself but I think that is a part of the attraction of the club. I have now read most of the book and I am really enjoying it.
